Canadian Issue Pattern 1907 Bayonet, C-Broadarrow

Canadian issue Pattern 1907 bayonet and scabbard, manufactured by Wilkinson for use with the SMLE #1 Mk. III service rifle. Full length 17 inch blade, and measuring 21 3/4 inches overall. 2 piece wood panel grips retained by 2 grip screws are in very good condition showing the original finish and no damage. Release button on place and functioning correctly. C-Broadarrow mark to the pommel below the release button. Blade is marked with the King’s Crown and the date 1907, and “Wilkinson” and the date 10/17 (October 1917) to the one side, and the British Broadarrow, proof mark, and the number “30” to the other. Blade shows some mottled age color with the cross guard and pommel turning to a pleasing aged brown finish. Scabbard is in very good condition with the metal work showing 85% of it’s original colored finish, with the leather and stitching being very strong, and with no damage.
