Covering aspects of the different airplanes in use by the RCAF in the early 1960’s period, with chapters explaining the instrumentation, aspects of flying, etc. Fully illustrated throughout. Spine repaired with blue coloured tape.
Flight Officer’s RAF 10th Corps Summer Uniform. 5 button, 4 pocket, closed collar summer tunic complete with issue summer shorts. 10th Corps slip-ons to the epaulettes with rank of Flight Lieutenant, showing the Officer as attached to the Corps Headquarters as a Liaison Officer. Very faint makers stamp to the interior of the tunic, marked size 8. No label or markings to the shorts. Shorts are in very good condition throughout, with the tunic showing period repairs to the back. No belt present.
WW2 RCAF dress tunic. Blue cotton material, four button front, four pocket open collar tunic complete with belt. Label to the exterior of the inner pocket. “Simpson’s, Outfitters to the RCAF”. Interior label to the pocket, reading “Simpson’s”, with hand written naming , “Hamel”, along with the number “6729-6325″, and the date “21/8/42″. In excellent condition overall.
WW2 WAAF collarless shirt. Full button front with 2 buttons to each cuff. . Constructed of a light weight pin striped cotton material. Long sleeve, with all buttons in place. Approx. Size small. Shows some separation of stitching under arms. Makers label in place. Hand written ink naming.
