2nd Pattern Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife with issue scabbard. Double edged 6 1/2 inch blade, with the F-S mark to the one side, and the Wilkinson mark to the other. Un-marked cross guard, and the typical donut shaped pommel nut above the finely checkered pattern grip. The blade is in very good condition, showing approx. 80% of it’s original dark color, as does the pommel. The grip is in very good condition with the checkering being sharp and clear, and retaining approx. 80% of it’s original dark finish, with some finish loss at the lower edge of the pommel. The leather scabbard is in very good condition, retaining almost all of it’s original color and finish. Both leather tabs in place, with strong stitching throughout. Issue elastic in place, but separated in the center. Very good to excellent condition overall.
WW2 British Army Officer’s Field Sword. Slim tapered blade manufactured in the white, measuring 32 1/2 inches in length, and being etched for 17 inches. Scrolled nickle basket hilt, with King George cypher. Wire wrapped snake skin grip. Full nickle finish scabbard with two suspension rings. Blade shows light spotting and discoloration from age. with some light stain marks in small areas to the hilt. Scabbard is in very good condition with 95% of the nickle finish remaining. Grips are in very good condition, with the wire wrapping in place and being very tight.
WW2 British issue field boots with toe caps. Hand nailed leather soles. Approx. size 9 1/2. The boots have been field modified with the addition of double straps in leather with steel roller buckles to the tops to give the appearance of WW2 U.S. boots. Leather is mostly subtle with strong stitching throughout.
