WW2 1944 dated P.O.W. made ship in bottle. Bottle measures 10 inches x 5 inches x by 2 1/2 inches, and is held in place in a hand built wooden stand. Plaque fastened to the stand, reading “Made By A German Prisoner Of War At Brooks (Alberta) – 1944. In very good condition.
WW2 British issue field boots with toe caps. Hand nailed leather soles. Approx. size 9 1/2. The boots have been field modified with the addition of double straps in leather with steel roller buckles to the tops to give the appearance of WW2 U.S. boots. Leather is mostly subtle with strong stitching throughout.
WW2 Canadian issue wool filed blanket, measuring 57 inches by 74 inches, with a wide black strip to the center. Large C-Broadarrow to the middle of the blanket. Manufacturers label intact, “Copp Woolen mills Limited”. Small cut to the top measuring 3.5 inches by 6 inches. Very clean with bright colors and almost no wear.
Gordon Highlanders Officer’s Badger Sporran. Full head mount badger with 6 white horse hair tassels with engraved brass bell tops, and Austrian cord hangers. Maker marked “Wn. Anderson & Sons, Ltd., Military Outfitters, Edinburgh, Scotland” to the inside pocket, and also embossed in gold to the back. Leather construction with brass cantle. Excellent condition.
British Officer’s Cased & Engraved Presentation Box Spurs. In fitted leather case with blue silk interior. Nickle silver shanks on engraved bodies with engraved rowels. Both box and spurs maker marked “Maxwell, 8 Dover Street, Piccadilly West.” In excellent condition.
