Pattern 1888 Lee Medford Service Rifle Bayonet - Regimentally Marked

For use with the Lee Medford service rifle in 303 British, measuring 17 1/2 inches overall with a 12 inch double edged blade that is maker marked Wilkinson to one side of the blade with the date stamp 2 94 (February 1894) and proof marked with a War Department stamp with Broadarrow to the opposite side. Proof mark stamps to both sides of the English Walnut grip panels that are secured by 2 brass pins. Regimentally marked to the cross guard, RR01. 334. Working release button in place with discoloration to both sides of the blade. No scabbard present.
