Pre-WW1 Antique U.S. Civil War Sharps & Hankins M1862 Naval Carbine

Single shot, sliding breech carbine measuring 38 1/2 inches overall and chambered in .52 rimfire with a 24 inch leather wrapped barrel and partially covered action. Marked Sharps Patent 1859 to the left side of the action and Sharps and Hankins Phillada. to the right.  Serial numbered to the tang. American walnut stock with a brass butt plate and a single sling swivel to the underside of the stock. Leather barrel covering has been restored and re-stitched.
