Antique U.S. Civil War William Uhlinger - C.W. Grant Belt Pistol

Manufactured 1861 to 1865. Measuring 10 inches overall with a 5 inch octagon barrel with extractor beneath. 6 shot, single action, spur trigger, chambered in 32 rimfire. Matching serial numbers with rosewood, 2 piece grip panels. One grip shows a small age cracking but is solid. Blued finish turning grey with wear to the high spots. Marked to the top of the barrel " W.L.Grant", who as a dry good merchant located in Camden, New Jersey and purchased the pistols unmarked, and later stamped them with his own name.
