Battalion Marked WW1 Canadian Ross Rifle Bayonet 1915

Measuring 14 3/4 inches in total length with a 10 inch altered blade to better penetrate uniforms. proof marked to the spine between the 2 wooden grip panels, with one panel also being proof marked. Manufacture marked to one side of the pommel with a Canadian C-Broadarrow, and a November 1915 date to the opposite side, next to the functioning release button. Also dated to the center of the pommel (11-17) and Battalion marked "30 G.A." with the number 19 below. Leather scabbard that is in very good condition is stamped with a large Canadian c-Broadarrow, with the lower portion stamped "Mk.II" and a WW2 reissue stamp, "H.C. Co. Ltd. 1941".
