Pre-WW2 German Deactivated Model 1922 Browning Service Pistol In Issue Holster -German Occupation
Deactivated WW2 era Browning Model 1922 originally chambered for the .32 ACP cartridge. Measuring 7 inches overall with a 3 1/2 inch barrel and 2 piece checkered wood grip panels and grip safety. Marked to the left side of the slide, "Fabrique Nationale D'Armes De Guerre Herstal Belgique" with "Browning's Patent Depose" below and 2 German Waffen Amp stamps to the right, and 2 more below at the back of the trigger guard. Matching serial numbers throughout with the letters "MR" stamped to the front left side of the trigger guard. Accompanied with the German marked issue brown leather holster that is stamped to the interior in German, and stamped to the reverse on the wide leather belt loop. The pistol retains most of the original blued finish with some expected wear to the finish. . Holster is in very good complete condition with strong stitching and soft, subtle leather.
