WW1 U.S. Deactivated Colt Model 1903 Type 1 SA Pistol 1907

Hammerless 32 Rimless pocket auto a.k.a The Model M, manufactured 1903 to 1946. Type 1, originally chambered in 32 ACP with an 8 shot magazine and a 4 inch barrel with 2 piece Rampant Colt checkered hard rubber grips that were used up till 1924, and a grip safety in place. Serial number shows a production date of 1907. Marked to the right side of the action, "Automatic Colt  " (Pre-1915) Calibre 32 Rimless Smokeless. The opposite side of the action is marked "Patented April 20, 1897, December 22, 1903" along with "Colt's PT. F.A.  Mfg. Co. Hartford CT. USA." with the serial number below. Colt logo to he back of the slide and to each grip panel.  Approx. 70% of the original blue remaining with the grips being in very good condition. Many of these Colts were acquired by officers and carried during WW1. Current spec deactivation with no moving parts and a non-removeable magazine. SKU: 60136
