WW2 Canadian Deactivated Mk.I Bren Gun Inglis 1943
WW2 Canadian Deactivated Mk.I Bren Gun Inglis 1943
Originally chambered for the 303 British Cartridge, and marked "Bren Mk.I" to the right side of the action, along with "Inglis 1943". Back of the action is marked "DP" for drill purpose, a conversion done after the arm was taken out of war service, and then later deactivated. A very good example showing war time use and with a large portion of the original finish remaining and some handing marks to the wood as to be expected. Complete with removeable magazine.
Old spec cock and click deactivation (Grandfathered) with the bolt locking back and releasing with a pull of the trigger, and a functioning selector switch. Chamber is weld blocked and the bolt is sheared at the face. Both interior and exterior welds present that prevents any access to the interior, and does not, and cannot be made to accept any ammunition. SKU: 61181
