Deactivated WW2 German MP44/StG44 SMG

Blued, stamped sheet metal construction MP44/StG44 with a machine tooled steel barrel and brown stained wooden fittings. The receiver and the breech housing are in stamped sheet metal with embossed horizontal strength reinforcement ribbing. The left side of the receiver has a milled, horizontal, action groove with a functioning, pull back bolt. The right side of the receiver has a horizontally rectangular, cut-out, spent cartridge case ejection window with a protective spring loaded cover. The spring loaded cartridge case ejection window cover flips open automatically when the bolt is activated. Maker marked to the left side of the action, "n44" behind the serial number and stamped "MP44" to the back left side of the action in front of the stock. waffen amt stamped to the underside of the front housing below the barrel. Barrel shroud is also maker stamped "ddq" behind the sling swivel. The removeable magazine is stamped "1001" to the right side and "MP44" to the left side. Two piece grooved bakalite grips with a chip to the lower portion of the right side. The wood stock is in very good condition showing the original color and finish with use but without damage. The metal work retains approx. 90% of the original finish with expected wear being present. 

Old spec deactivation being a click but with no cock. Bolt comes back and releases with the trigger welded in place. Shows both internal and external welds, a removeable magazine that has had the follower welded in place, and a functioning selector switch. SKU: 60396
