George V British Pattern 1897 Infantry Sword With Sword Knot And Sam Browne Belt

Measuring 38 1/2 inches overall with a 32 1/4 inch etched blade that is proofed at the base and maker marked to the opposite side, Manufactured by Wm. Hutton & Sons Ltd. Sheffield. Nickel silver basket hilt guard with a George V cypher and sharkskin wire wrapped grip that is in excellent condition and showing only minor wear. The etched blade is very clean and bright showing 99% original finish. Issue leather sword know in place as is the leather covered field scabbard having some wear marks to the exterior. Leather sword hanger in place attached to an unmarked leather Sam Browne belt with cross strap. A very attractive set. SKU: 62089
