Constructed of leather and measuring 14 1/2 by 10 inches with one exterior leather pocket and flap closure with 2 leather straps and brass roller buckles. Adjustable leather carry strap in place. Manufacture's stamp to the interior, B.McDowell, Halstead Essex, Saddler, England' Period applied handwritten naming to the interior, 'Captain T.S. Griffiths', who is shown as an officer in the Political Department of the British Army.
