Bubble glass framed WW1 photo of Stanley P. Saunders (5th Western Cavalry) in uniform, with the collar badges, service chevron and rank stripes visible in the photo. In an oval painted plaster on wood frame, measuring 18 by 24 inches, Chip to the bottom portion of the frame, with Made In Canada marking and handwritten naming to the reverse. Photos is accompanied with WW1 service cap, cloth with a leather chin strap and 2 small brass CANADA side buttons. Large Canadian C-Broadarrow stamp to the interior, and with issue brass badge with red cloth backing in place. SKU: 60099
History: 12764 Sgt. Stanley Saunders from Winnipeg Manitoba had former service in the 18th Mounted Rifles, serving overseas in France and Belgium for 43 months and was Mentioned In Dispatches. Attestated September 19th, 1914 and was discharged on March 12th, 1919.
