Named WW1 Presentation Pocket Watch - CAMC Canadian Army Medical Corps

Manufactured by the Illinois Watch Company, and sold through P.J. Harwood Jewelers, Portage La Prairie Manitoba (Marked to the face of the dial). Serial numbered Wadsworth gold plated case with white porcelain dial with second hand. Engraved to the back of the case, '524289, T.W. Dunbar, C.A.M.C., Winnipeg'. Watch displays very well but not in working order. Thomas William Dunbar, 42 1/2 Logan Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, attestated January 26th, 1917 with the Canadian Army Medical Corps, T.D. No.10, C.E.F., and was posted to the P.P.C.R.C. Hospital, Westenhanger 31-5-17, serving in France with the 43rd Battalion, Cameron Highlanders.
