Named WW2 Canadian Mk.II Combat Helmet With Service Number 1943 RCAF Royal Canadian Air Force

Steel shell helmet that is C-Broadarrow stamped to the interior andmaker marked to the back inner skirt, C.L./C (Canadian Lamp Company), batch marked number 10 and dated 1943. Liner with cruciform pad in place, with the liner being C-Broadarrow stamped and marked VMC II 1942. C-Broadarrow stamped chinstrap in place.. Front of the helmet has the soldier's name applied, "Brandle" and also has his name with rank and service number hand written and period applied to the chinstrap, Cpl. Brandle R.J. R85118 (RCAF). He has also etched his name to the back inner skirt of the helmet along with his service number and location, Nanaimo B.C.  Helmet shows some use but retains most of the original finish and very good condition throughout.
