For use with the SMLE #1 Mk.III Service Rifle in 303 British. Measuring 21 3/4 inches overall with a 16 3/4 inch fullered blade and dated 08-13 (August 1913) Proof marked to the opposite side along with a British Broadarrow, and stamped with the letter "N" to both the blade and pommel, denoting Naval. Functioning release button in place with regimental marking that have been crossed out to the opposite side of the pommel. Faint makers mark to the leather scabbard with a British Broadarrow to the reverse. SKU: 61556
