Pre-WW1 Pattern 1907 Infantry Sword - J.R. Gaunt

Measuring 39 inches overall with a 32 3/4 inch blade, etched to both sides and with a George V cypher and King's Crown. Proofed to one side and maker marked to the other, "J.R. Gaunt & Son Limited, Late Edward Thurkle London and Birmingham". Shark skin grip with wire wrapping. Numbered to the spine of the blade, "17017". Leather covered field scabbard in place. Very good condition overall with some minor age discoloration to the lower portion of the blade.
