Post-WW2 Ishapore Deactivated FN L1A1 Service Rifle RFI 1974

Post-WW2 Ishapore Deactivated FN L1A1 Service Rifle originally chambered for the 7.62 Nato cartridge. Matching numbers, and marked to the left side of the receiver, "Rifle 7.62 mm 1A1" with the serial number CC 6198, which is also present to the back of the receiver. Number marked to the opposite side of the receiver, 1005-001583. Stamped to the slide on the right side, RFI 1974. Wood stock and forend, the the stock having a painted on rack number, 374 to the left side. Both sling swivels in place with a folding carry handle. Old spec deactivation with the action being able to be cocked, but no click present as the trigger is welded in place. Has both interior and exterior welds with the chamber being weld block and exterior welds that prohibit any access to the interior. Non-removeable magazine that is both pinned and welded in place. The deactivation has been very neatly done. Does not, and cannot be made to accept ammunition of any kind.  Small crack to the right side of the wood stock behind the action with some wear and handling marks to the stock and forend.
