1945 model launcher with 3 metal gripping claws instead of the early pattern which had 4. Stenciling to the side of the side of the body and dated 1953. The inert cast iron grenade body is marked RFX, with the blue colored fuse cover being well marked. These were used on the M1 Garand service rifle with blank rounds to launch the grenades.
