Pre-WW1 British Enfield Pattern 1853 Yataghan Sword Bayonet And Scabbard

For use with the Enfield Pattern 1853 two band short rifle and later Snider Enfield conversions. Measures 28 inches overall with a slightly curved, 22 3/4 inch fullered blade that is proof marked to one side of the blade with a British War Department stamp and British Broadarrow, and manufactures mark to the opposite side. 2 piece checkered grip panels with a functioning release button in place. Stamped to the steel cross guard with the number 16. With the leather and steel field scabbard that is missing the stitching to the back of the scabbard. Still displays very well. SKU: 62977
