Pre-WW1 British P1856 Sergeants Model 2 Band Snider Enfield Bayonet -Canadian Issue

Measuring 28 inches overall with a 22 1/2 inch, slightly curved, single edged, fullered blade. 2 piece checkered grip panels with working release button in place. Release from service stamp to the pommel under the release button, with 46 below for the 46th Durham Regiment, with the number 277 below. Bayonet shows age with discoloration and staining. In the issue leather and metal field scabbard that also shows use and wear with the stitching missing from the back of the scabbard. SKU: 61047
