Pre-WW1 Canadian 1912 LSH Lord Strathcona's Horse Brass Parade Helmet

Brass Lord Strathcona's Horse parade helmet with a bi-metal 2 piece construction helmet plate to the front. Brass on leather chinstrap with removeable brass finial to the top of the helmet with red and white horsehair. Leather liner in place to the interior that shows expected use and wear, with the leather separated from the brass chinstrap that could be repaired and refastened. Some minor and slight denting in areas to the edges from use and wear. Manufactures plaque to the interior that has been re-attached, Firmin & Sons Ltd., 8 Cork St. London W.1. SKU: 65015
