Pre-WW1 Canadian NWMP North West Mounted Police Officer's Binoculars In Case With Belt

NWMP Officer's binoculars, 4 1/2 inches in height, with checkered pattern black leather and nickel silver metal. No manufactures marks present. The side of one of the extended eye pieces is engraved with the initials, "A.S." Both eye pieces extend as they should as does the sliding sun shields to the front of the binoculars. Contained in the Officer's leather carry case constructed of black leather with purple material lining to the interiors with indentations in the material from the binoculars being in place for a long period of time. . No badge in place the front, but shows a strong outline of the badge along with the 3 mounting holes. Leather closure strap to a brass tab located at the bottom of the case. The top closure of the case is not attached but  could be repaired if desired. Complete with the leather belt having all the buckle and all of the gilt finish brass fixtures in place, as well as the gilt brass leaf pattern connector plates to each side of the case. A museum inventory number has been applied to the interior of the belt and  to the inner side of the binoculars, as well as to the closure lid of the case in 2 places. SKU: 66010
