Canvas covered metal canteen, measuring 8 inches in diameter, marked 'U.S.' to the front of the cover. Issue adjustable leather carrier strap in place, connected by 2 metal clip hooks. Issue closure cork in place connected to the canteen by a small steel chain. In very good condition showing some use and wear with patina to the metal parts. Leather carrier is soft and subtle with no damage. Arsenal stamped and dated 1903 to one end.
