WW1 British MGC Machine Gunner's Over Tunic

Constructed of heavy battledress wool with a reinforced collar, 3 button front and protective leather padding to each shoulder. Worn over the battle tunic and used by WW1 machine gunners for protection from heat when carrying machine guns after firing. Shows use with some small burn holes present from use.
