WW1 British Named Officers Field Binoculars In Case

A small pair of private purchase WW1 British Officer's field binoculars measuring 5 1/2 by 3 3/4 inches in the closed position. Manufacture marked "Dixeys Ltd. 552 Oxfords St. W". to the one side, And Brighton" to the opposite side. Blacken brass with leather wrapping. The binoculars are contained in a leather field case with 2 leather belt loops to the reverse and an adjustable leather carry strap with a brass roller buckle. The bottom of the case is hand inscribed "CAPT. B. WESTBURY". with his regiment below this that is very difficult to decipher.
