WW1 British Pattern 1827 Rifle Regiment Sword (C)

Measuring 39 inches overall with a 32.75 inch spear point blade. Etched to both sides for 22 inches of the blade, shark skin grips with wore wrapping and nickel silver guard and pommel. King's Crown above the rifle regiment powder horn in the guard. Proved to the left side of the blade, and maker marked to the left side, 'Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall London'. Service number stamped into the spine of the blade above the guard, '46682'. Blade, guard and pommel show a bright and clean nickel silver finish with crisp etching to the blade. Shark skin grip is in excellent condition with tight wire wrapping. Leather covered field scabbard shows use with some light scuffing to the lower portion, with some loose stitching below the throat.
