WW1 British Pattern 1907 bayonet for use with the SMLE #1 Mk.III bolt action service rifle chambered in 303 British. Measures 21 3/4 inches in total length with a 16 3/4 inch single edged fullered blade that is proof marked to the one side, and maker marked to the opposite side, VICKERS, 1907, with a King's Crown stamp, and dated 9-18 (September, 1918). Proof mark stamps to both sides of the 2 piece wood grip panels, and having a working release button in place. With leather and steel field scabbard.
