WW1 British RN Royal Navy Named Photo And Album Archive Of Lt. George Humphry Griffiths, consists of numerous items, with the first being a large photo album measuring 10 1/2 by 8 3/4 inches and consisting of 35 period, named and identified black and white photos and 14 paper items, with the photos being of the HMS Temeraire in Gallipoli and Constantinople along with other destinations, with photos showing crew and members, including General Sir Henry Fuller Maitland Wilson in 1918, and General Allenby in 1919, to name a few. This album is missing the front cover and shows damage to the spine, but is intact. The grouping is also accompanied with a smaller hardcover Kodak album, measuring 5 1/4 by 4 1/4 inches, and contains 10 period black and white photos that are all named and identified, dating from 1911 to 1918. There is also a large format photo mounted on a 9 3/4 by 8 inch matte board, showing Lt. Griffiths along with the team from the HMS Temeraire for the Grand Cup Challenge, dated 1918, and also being named and identified to the reverse. A black and white period photo of George Humphry Griffiths in uniform as a midshipman, circa 1914-15, on a cardboard baking that measures 6 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches, along with 5 other period black and white photos, including one of Sydney Burgess, Chief Yeoman and Signals, 4th Battle Squadron, Grand Fleet, a picture postcard of the HMS Temeraire, a photo of the  monument to General E.I. Totlben, a picture postcard of locals, anda  larged black and white photo of the HMS Temeraire, with period signatures of some of the crew members to the front, with the names and information listed to the reverse. The last item is a 1918 dated hard cover manual measuring 4 by 6 1/2 inches for Electrical Measurements and Torpedo control adopted for use in the Naval Torpedo Schools, named to the top left corner to Lieut. Griffiths, with a 1918 dated stamp to the HMS Temeraire, First Fleet, to the inside of the front cover. This archive is also with a printed copy of the history of Lt. Griffiths and the HMS Temeraire as provided by a family member of Lt. Griffiths.  SKU: 63037
