WW1 Canadian 1907 Ross Bayonet 50th Battalion

Measuring 14 3/4 inches overall an unaltered, single edge 10 inch blade. Proof marked to the spine between the 2 wooden grip panels, with one panel also being proof marked and the other being number stamped, "U634" with a single proof mark above. Marked to one side of the pommel with a Canadian C-Broad Arrow, and a 12-10 (December 1910) date next to the functioning release button. Opposite side is marked "Ross Rifle Co., Quebec, Patented 1907. The grip panels are in very good condition with the blade showing spotting, with the steel cross guard and pommel also show speckling and spotting. The leather scabbard is stamped with a Canadian C-Broad Arrow to the front of the frog portion, and marked to the reverse to the 50th BN CEF. Lower tip of the scabbard is stamped with a Canadian c-Broad Arrow and a 1909 date. SKU: 66032
