Measuring 14 3/4 inches in total length with a 10 inch altered blade to better penetrate uniforms. proof marked to the spine between the 2 wooden grip panels, with both panels being proof marked. Manufacture marked to one side of the pommel with a Canadian C-Broad Arrow, and a November 1916 date to the opposite side, next to the functioning release button. In the leather field scabbard that is Battalion marked to the reverse of the frog portion, with a small Canadian C-Broad Arrow to the front. Also marked to the bottom reverse of the scabbard.
