WW1 Canadian Issue P07 SMLE Bayonet -Reissued WW2 RCAF Royal Canadian Air Force 110 Squadron
WW1 Canadian Issue Pattern 1907 Bayonet for use with SMLE #1 Mk.III bolt action service rifle chambered in 303 British. Measuring 21 3/4 inches in total length with a 17 inch single edged fullered blade dated 1907 with King George Crown above and dated 11 - 17 (November, 1917) below, and maker marked Sanderson. Proof marked to the opposite side with a British Broadarrow. 2 piece wood grip panels, with working release button in place. Pommel is stamped with a Canadian C-Broadarrow, with WW2 Reissue stamping to the opposite side to the 110 Squadron, RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) and a 1939 date stamp. Blade, pommel, and cross guard have been nickel plated for parade and Honor Guard use. Housed in the leather scabbard that is stamped to the top of the throat with different Battalion markings. Leather scabbard retains roughly 50% of the original field green color finish. A rarer bayonet due to the RCAF Squadron markings. SKU: 61435
