WW1 Canadian Photo Album -Infantry Air Force Nurses Cavalry

Soft leather covered photo album with a period applied hand painted union jack flag to the front. Album measures 9 by 7 1/2 inches and contains 197 original un-published photos with some being named and a small amount of newspaper clippings of some of the people that are also shown in the photos. Photos include infantry, cavalry, RAF, Nursing and Armor Corps, with most shown in uniform. The album also contains photos of military vehicles, motorcycles, and planes. Some of the photos have been cut around the images before being mounted in the album. The family in the album came from the U.K. having served there, and then came to Canada to serve in the CEF and Air Force. SKU: 60348
