A German made WW1 Swiss M1914 Pioneer Sawback Bayonet for use with the model 1911 carbines and rifles. Measuring roughly 24 inches in total length, with a wide, 16 3/4 inch single edged blade with a fuller to one side, and a "sawback", serrated edge on the spine. Maker marked at the base of the blade, WAFFENFABRIK, NEUHAUSEN to the one side, and serial numbered to the steel cross guard. 2 piece wood grip panels with a functioning release button in place. Complete with the issue magnetic steel locking field scabbard . Leather tab in place to the scabbard that has a tear in the leather to the 1 side. SKU: 63351
