WW1 U.S. United States 7th Division Combat Helmet

Steel shell helmet with "cement finish" to the exterior, with liner and chinstrap in place. 7th Division insignia painted to the front. Paper label in place to the center of the liner, and marked as size 7. Maker marked to the interior brim.  The division was first activated in December 1917 in World War I, and has been based at Fort Ord, California for most of its history
