WW2 British Deactivated 1941 Dated 2-Inch NO. 3 MK.II Airborne Mortar

All steel construction, measuring 27 1/4 inches in total length. Complete with the base plate and black metal adjustable sight to the side. Marked to the blackened steel sight retaining band, SGT. 2 IN. MR. NO.3 MK.II BUFFWELL ENGINEERING & MACHINE CO., along with a British Broadarrow. Bottom of the barrel above the base plate is marked No. L with the serial number, MORTAR II and dated 1941 with proof marks. A very rare to find WW2 item in very good condition.
