Steel shell Mk.II paratroopers helmet with liner and "3rd Model" webbed chinstrap with leather cup. All strap bales in place, with the interior padding being present. The leather sweatband, showing wear, is maker marked C.C.L. ( Christy & Co. Ltd. London ) and dated 1945. Marked as size 7 1/8. The helmet is with a knitted cotton, 2 tone, camouflage helmet net to the exterior. Post-war, reissue, hand applied naming to the leather sweatband. A nice example showing use and wear. SKU: 65039
