Wood construction ammunition crate measuring 9 by 6 1/4 by 4 3/4 inches with metal insert and lid in place to the interior. Label in place to the interior metal lid reading "240 Cartridges Revolver DC Mk.VI" and dated November 20, 1944. Exterior labels in place showing the same markings and date, with a heavy paper label to the top marked for Naval Service. A not often seen WW2 item. SKU: 63378
