WW2 Canadian High Top D-Day Boots

An original pair of WW2 Canadian High Top "D-Day" boots. also sometimes called "Invasion Boots". All leather construction with leather strap closures to the tops that both remain in the original full length to the blackened metal roller buckles. All metal grommets to the lacing holes in place. Leather soles and heals with steel toe caps and marked steel "horseshoes" to the leather soles. Both boots show marks to the leather soles that are still visible. Markings to the interior leather soles have worn away from wear and use. Stitching is strong throughout. The leather is also still subtle to both boots that show expected wartime use and wear.  A rare and not often seen WW2 item in any condition. SKU: 62963  SOLD
