WW2 Canadian Mk.II Combat Helmet CL/C 1940 BATCH NUMBER 1

Steel shell Canadian Mk.II Helmet complete with issue liner and chinstrap. Stamped to back inner brim, C.L./C. (Canadian Lamp Company) dated 1940, and stamped as Batch Number 1. A small Canadian C-Broadarrow is stamped to the left outer rim below the chinstrap bale retaining rivet. Liner is also dated 1940 and marked as size 6 7/8. A small white triangle, measuring 1 1/4 by 1 1/4 inches has been applied to the outer back portion of the helmet. Shows field use and wear.  This helmet is from the very first batch of Canadian MKII helmets made in 1940. Rare to find. SKU: 60852
