Canvas and leather construction satchel with adjustable wide carry strap. Two leather front closure straps to metal roller buckles. Period applied, hand written naming to the interior and to the closure flap to J.B. BIKER RCE (Royal Canadian Engineers). Manufactures label in place to the interior of the closure flap above the naming, Woods Camp Supplies, Woods Mfg. Co. Ltd. Ottawa Can. The satchel is with 2 un-named manuals, Canadian Army Training Pamphlet No.1, A General Instruction Background For The Young Soldier, dated 1940, and the Canadian Soldier's Handbook, dated 1943.
