WW2 Canadian RCAF Named Type E-3 Flight Pants 1943

Air Force blue heavy cotton material insulated flight pants with yellow material lining. Full length front zippers down the front of each leg with a zippered and top buttoned front bib. Two zippered slash pockets to each lower leg. Adjustable elastic blue/grey suspenders marked as size medium with Police marked brass adjustments in place. Period applied stenciled naming to the upper back, "205705 F/O H.H. SPEAR RCAF". Manufactures label in place to the interior. "D.B.L. MEDIUM" and dated 1943 with designation "TYPE E-3" below., and hand writing applied above the label. The front left full length zipper is not functioning, with all other zippers working as they should. These pants were worn with the Type E-3 flight jackets, which is seen more often than the pants.
