Leather construction flap holster for use with the Colt 1911 S/A service pistol in 45 ACP. Brass closure tab to the front with leather strap for securing to the leg in place at the bottom. Attachment hooks to the reverse above the belt loop. Maker marked to the reverse, "Tex Tan". Embossed "U.S." in an oval to the front of the closure flap, with period, hand applied naming the the interior, "1st LT. R.M. EACRETT, 6-1 Regt. 1SSF". Shows expected use and wear with tight stitching and soft pliable leather. SKU: 62574
