WW2 Canadian Vickers M.G. Mk.III Aiming Lamp In Issue Box 1941

The MK3 aiming lamp has a hinged ground spike which folds against the box and is retained by a leather strap. The lamp is manufacture marked Proprietary Electric Cycle Lamp and is complete less the bulb. The line is connected to a switch rod which operates a ceiling type switch in the box which, in turn, is connected by flexible leads to the battery and lamp. The chain was used to secured to an eye in the box, the other end having a spring hook for securing or anchoring the box to any convenient post or object. Brass manufactures label to the top of the case reading Chadwick Carroll, Lamp Aiming, M.G. Mk.III, Hamilton, Ontario, and dated 1941 with a Canadian -Broadarrow below. SKU: 63646
