Metal cased WW2 Canadian Wireless Number 18 Radio Set, that measures 10 by 8 inches and being 17 inches in height, not including the built in meatal back harness that has all of the webbed carry straps and attachment hooks in place. Antenna base is attached to the outer side of the case with the 4 piece antenna being present in the hold compartment next to the base. The front of the case has an upper and lower metal, hinged and canvas canopy cover with a webbed closure strap to a roller buckle closure that protects the face of the case and radio. All labels are in place to the face of the radio with all dials, switches and cables being present. Metal identification plate and part number to the top exterior of the case. The set is also accompanied with the headset that shows expected use, and the black bakalite microphone, with both having the collector plugs in place. This example is very original and complete. While many offered onto the market today have missing or replacement reproduction parts, this example has survived in it's original field used condition due to having been part of a museum collection.
