 The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains about most of its field-grey paint. The left side of the helmet has a Wehrmacht eagle shield decal which is retained about 90%. All three liner retaining rivets are tight, factory set, and untouched. The interior of the helmet has a, tan, M31 leather liner with all eight fingers and the manufacture's stamp being present. The interior reverse neck guard apron is well marked with a stamped lot number 11826 and the interior left side apron is stamped with the manufactures code and size SE64. The original issue chinstrap with white metal buckle is in place, with the end tab of the chinstrap manufactures stamped and dated 1942. Helmet is correct as shown in the German Helmet Lot Numbers book as shown in the photos. A very good, out of the field, and untouched example. SKU: 60551
