WW2 German Army Second Pattern Tropical Pith Helmet

Second pattern pith helmet constructed in a one piece, seamless, formed, olive-drab felt crown with a horizontal band stitched at the rear center and covered by a vertical strip of felt mounted on a formed cork base.  Stamped alloy shields in place with the tri-color shield to the one side, and German Army Eagle with symbol to the opposite side. Complete with the leather chinstrap with sliding magnetic sheet metal buckle in place. No visible markings to the interior. Shows use and wear. SKU: 62809
