WW2 German Infantry Officers Visor Cap

Field-grey wool body visor cap and a a blue/green cloth center band with white piping above and below to the edges, and also the perimeter of the crown. Blackened, patent, leather chinstrap with 2 front buckles in place, with the chin strap secured by two small black side buttons, and black lacquered, vulcan fibre visor to the front. Silver washed  second pattern, stamped aluminum national eagle to the front with the stamped metal wreath and cockade below. Size marked to the interior. The cap is in very good condition with one small area of separation on the right side of the interior leather band, and one area of minor chipping to the edge of the visor on the right side.
